Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

As the Chief Marketing Officer, you will lead the marketing strategy and execution to position the organization as a leader in the market. Your role will encompass building brand awareness, driving customer acquisition, fostering customer loyalty, and enabling sustainable growth through innovative marketing approaches aligned with fintech trends and regulatory frameworks.

The CMO collaborates closely with the executive team, product development, sales, and technology divisions to ensure the marketing strategy aligns with the company’s vision and objectives. You will manage a diverse marketing team to deliver impactful campaigns that resonate with fintech audiences

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Marketing Leadership

  • Define and own the global marketing vision, strategy, and long‑term roadmap.
  • Translate business objectives into actionable marketing plans that drive growth, brand equity, and market expansion.
  • Lead cross‑functional alignment between Marketing, Product, Sales, and Executive Leadership to ensure cohesive strategic execution.
  • Identify emerging market opportunities in digital assets, FX, and trading infrastructure to guide strategic decision‑making.

Brand Positioning & Corporate Identity

  • Architect a strong, differentiated brand that resonates with institutional clients, partners, and regulators.
  • Oversee all brand architecture, messaging frameworks, and visual identity standards.
  • Ensure consistent brand representation across all touchpoints, regions, and communication channels.
  • Build the company’s reputation as a trusted, compliant, and innovative technology provider.

Global Communications & PR

  • Lead corporate communications, media relations, and public-facing narratives.
  • Develop a proactive PR strategy to increase visibility in financial, crypto, and technology media.
  • Serve as a senior spokesperson when required, representing the company at high-level industry events and interviews.
  • Manage crisis communication planning and reputation management protocols.

Demand Generation & Growth Marketing

  • Build and scale a data-driven demand generation engine targeting institutional clients, exchanges, and B2B partners.
  • Oversee performance marketing, digital campaigns, content strategy, and funnel optimization.
  • Implement marketing automation, analytics, and attribution models to measure ROI and accelerate pipeline growth.
  • Drive customer lifecycle marketing to improve retention, engagement, and product adoption.

Product Marketing & Go to Market (GTM)

  • Lead product positioning, value propositions, and competitive differentiation for all platforms and solutions.
  • Develop and execute GTM strategies for new product launches, feature rollouts, and market expansions.
  • Conduct market intelligence, competitor analysis, and customer insights to inform product and commercial strategy.
  • Partner with Product and Sales teams to ensure alignment on messaging, pricing, and customer segmentation.

Partnerships, Ecosystem & Industry Influence

  • Strengthen relationships with exchanges, liquidity providers, regulators, and technology partners.
  • Drive co-marketing initiatives with strategic partners to expand reach and credibility.
  • Represent the company at global conferences, industry forums, and regulatory discussions.
  • Build thought leadership programs, including whitepapers, research reports, and executive content.

Team Leadership & Organizational Development

  • Build, scale, and mentor a high-performing global marketing organization.
  • Establish clear KPIs, performance frameworks, and operational processes.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Manage the global marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation and measurable impact.

Executive Collaboration & Business Impact

  • Provide regular insights to the CEO and executive team on market trends, customer behavior, and competitive shifts.
  • Contribute to overall business strategy, revenue planning, and corporate decision-making.
  • Ensure marketing initiatives directly support commercial goals, client acquisition, and long-term enterprise value.
  • Champion customer-centric thinking across the organization.

Requirements & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • In-depth understanding of fintech markets and customer dynamics.
  • 10+ years of marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in fintech, crypto, or financial services.
  • Proven success in developing and executing impactful marketing strategies.
  • Expertise in digital marketing tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot).
  • Strong knowledge of financial services, crypto regulations, and compliance considerations.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategies.
  • Creative and innovative mindset with a results-driven approach.
