The Head of Sales is a senior leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, building and leading a high-performing sales organization, and scaling commercial execution in line with D24 Fintech’s business ambitions.
This role owns end-to-end sales strategy and execution across new business, account growth, presales, and inside sales, while working in close partnership with Marketing, Tech, Operations, Legal, and Finance.
As D24 Fintech enters its next growth phase, the Head of Sales will shift the organization to a structured, scalable, and predictable revenue engine.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Revenue Ownership
- Define and own the overall sales strategy aligned with company growth targets.
- Translate company ambition into clear revenue plans, targets, and priorities.
- Own pipeline strategy, forecasting, and commercial planning.
- Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue performance.
Team Leadership & Scaling
- Build, lead, and develop a scalable sales organization (hunter + farmer model).
- Coach Sales Leads, Account Managers, and Inside Sales on:
- Qualification standards
- Deal structuring
- Closing strategies
- Account expansion
- Establish a strong performance culture with clear KPIs, accountability, and feedback.
- Ensure managers delegate effectively and do not operate as single points of failure.
New Business & Client Acquisition
- Oversee lead generation, qualification, and conversion across outbound and inbound channels.
- Ensure consistent execution from first contact to client confirmation and onboarding.
- Act as the senior sponsor for key strategic prospects and enterprise clients.
- Support complex commercial negotiations and high-value deals.
Account Growth & Client Relationships
- Own the strategy for account retention, upsell, and cross-sell.
- Ensure strong client satisfaction, engagement, and long-term value creation.
- Set standards for account ownership, escalation handling, and renewal management.
- Partner with Product and Tech to align client needs with product roadmap.
Commercial Operations & Enablement
- Establish clear sales processes, qualification criteria, and pipeline governance.
- Ensure disciplined use of CRM tools, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.
- Define and track KPIs (conversion rates, deal velocity, win/loss, churn).
- Partner with Marketing on employer brand, messaging, and go-to-market alignment.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Act as a trusted partner to Tech, Product, Operations, Compliance, Finance, and People & Organization.
- Balance growth ambitions with operational feasibility and regulatory constraints.
- Represent Sales at the leadership level, contributing to the company-wide strategy and culture.
- Provide structured market and client feedback to senior leadership.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Commercial Leadership.
- Proven track record in FinTech/Financial Services/Trading/SaaS environments.
- Experience scaling sales teams in fast-growing companies
- Strong understanding of:
- Sales pipelines and forecasting
- Enterprise and mid-market sales
- Contract negotiation and pricing
- Experience working in regulated environments is a strong advantage.
- A confident leader, comfortable with ambiguity, change, and the pressure of growth.
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Data-driven mindset combined with strong commercial intuition.
