The Pre-Sales & Inside Sales Team Lead is responsible for driving regional sales growth by identifying new clients, responding to inbound inquiries, and supporting the sales cycle through strong pre-sales engagement. This role combines hands-on sales activities with team leadership, ensuring that prospects receive timely responses, accurate product information, and a smooth transition into the sales pipeline. The position requires a proactive leader who can manage a team, generate leads, and support technical and commercial discussions with potential clients.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Client Outreach
- Identify and target potential clients within the assigned region.
- Conduct outbound outreach through calls, emails, social channels, and networking.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects.
- Research market segments to uncover new business opportunities.
Inbound Inquiry Management
- Respond promptly and professionally to incoming inquiries from prospects and clients.
- Provide accurate product information, pricing details, and technical clarifications.
- Qualify inbound leads and route them to the appropriate sales or technical teams.
- Ensure all inquiries are logged and tracked in CRM systems.
Pre‑Sales Support
- Prepare and deliver product presentations, demos, and solution overviews.
- Assist prospects in understanding product capabilities, features, and benefits.
- Work closely with sales, product, and technical teams to address client questions.
- Support proposal creation, documentation, and pre‑sales materials.
Team Leadership & Coordination
- Lead and mentor the inside sales team to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
- Train team members on product knowledge, sales scripts, and best practices for client engagement.
- Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback and coaching.
- Ensure consistent follow‑up, pipeline hygiene, and CRM accuracy across the team.
Sales Pipeline & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of leads, inquiries, and pre‑sales activities.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on team performance, lead quality, and conversion rates.
- Analyze data to improve outreach strategies and pre‑sales effectiveness.
- Collaborate with senior management on forecasting and regional sales planning.
Regional Market Engagement
- Stay informed about regional market trends, competitor offerings, and client needs.
- Represent the company at regional events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with prospects, clients, and industry stakeholders.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience in pre‑sales, inside sales, or sales support roles in the fintech industry.
- 2+ years of experience in tech sales, sales, or customer service in the finance, fintech, or crypto industry is a plus.
- Strong understanding of sales cycles, lead qualification, and pre‑sales processes.
- Proficient in using CRM systems to track customer interactions and sales progress.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple inquiries, leads, and team tasks simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet monthly targets.
- Experience in technology, fintech, SaaS, or digital platforms is an advantage.
- Familiarity with regional markets and client engagement practices.
